Pancake evening March 5th We ate a lot and cooked a lot – though it has to be said amongst the older members there was too much of girls cooking and boys eating, playing table tennis was far more interesting than being in the kitchen. Ice Skating Trip
Ice Skating 16th February 2009 With the trip over subscribed an excited group of 22 young people and 4 adults headed off to Spectrum Ice Rink in Guildford. At last an aim of the club to offer an activity away from the village had been realised but little did we know we would return two members short! Youth Workers Report Barns Green Youth Club AGM 2009 Barns Green Youth Club is a successful village Youth Club held in the local village hall on a Thursday evening from 7pm till 9pm. The club is run for young people between the ages of 11 and 16 years. At the present time there are no young people aged 15 or over, regularly attending. The average age of attendance is 13 years. 44 different young people have attended during 2008 with a regular evening attendance from September to December averaging 23 …

BGYC- From Small Begginings
The club is going from strength to strength and regularly has over 30 children attending each club night. The club will soon moving from twice a month meeting to weekly one. The Youth Club has been running officially since September 2006 though before it’s official opening the children had visits from the Purple Bus and then The Snack Wagon which visited May and July 2006.
