BGYC is opening again on 1st October 2020.
BGYC employ Sussex Clubs For Young People to supply our youth worker therefore we (BGYC) and SCYP will be following the NYA guidance
Parents when arriving by car social distancing is required, parents should stay in their vehicles when dropping off and collecting to avoid too many people near the entrance and exit.

Barns Green Youth Club will reopen on 20th January unless guidelines change. Masks will have to be worn.
NYA Covid Guidance December 2021
From 2nd December the Readiness Level moves to YELLOW. All young people will be able to attend indoor or outdoor activities. Youth provision for young people of all ages, both under and over 18 years of age, have the same requirements. All youth provision may meet indoors or outdoors without limitations on group size. Update January 2021
BGYC will not be opening this week and and not until it is safe to do so. The latest restrictions the mutation of the virus and the huge increase in infections meant it the only course to take. Update December 2020
As you may be aware we are in tier 2 for the new Covid-19 guidelines, this means that using a building this side of Christmas is not going to be possible due to the limitation of numbers. We will hope to be returning back to an indoor setting in the New Year if the numbers and regulations allow us to return safely for staff, volunteers and young people. Lockdown Advice BGYC will remain closed until it safe for everyone to join in. We need more guidance before can consider opening the club. We could list all the potential challenges however we are sure you are keeping up to date with what they are and how to stay safe yourselves.
