MARCH 2015 NEWSLETTER 07 Fortnightly Newsletter Issue no. 7 Week 1: This week, the brilliant Sarah Foster came to the club to teach the members how to dance. The dance session covered several modern tracks like Bruno Mars’ “Uptown Funk”, as well as lesser-known disco tracks like the internet phenomena “Sandstorm” by Darude. Week 1: The first week in this edition was a regular, relaxing week. There was a board game being played in the back room, whilst in the front, the members could play computer games on lap-tops and the Xbox, or play the much more traditional game of pool. For some of the football fanatics in the group, there was a television on which they could watch the big match with their fa-vourite teams. The younger members enjoyed running around the club chasing each other and playing fun games like Hide …

Week 1: The first week was a fun multigames tourna-ment. Each member was in a pair with a friend, and had to complete a series of games. If you lost the game, you had to play again with someone else. The aim was to com-plete the entire circuit as quickly as possible. Me and my partner spent a very long time playing table tennis! The games included table football, pool, and my partic-ular favourite, jenga. One set of friends managed to make a tower taller than some of our members …

Week 1: On our first week there was an intense and thrilling one-a-side football tournament for everyone who wanted to take part, from first-timers to the youth club professionals. In the end of what was a tense and in-credibly close to call final, the winner was Sam Coxon, one of the club’s more experience players.
